In the future I hope to complete my women’s enviroment center and attach to it a rocket tea cafe. While this center will hopefully make room for and inspire justice and sustainable environmental change, I also hope for it to be economically promising in a environmental way. At the center different types of stoves will hopefully be tested out working on the countless environmental problems including air pollution and deforestation, but I am working with another volunteer on the rocket stove which we might sell at the center. In order for it to sell most effectively it will be experienced first at the women’s center, ideally as part of a small bakery/tea room I am dreaming of. Though clearly, a lot of this planning and action is still yet to be worked out and completed, have no fear, I have come up with a rap and wanted to post this rap so that if anyone had any contacts with R.Kelly they might want to work on passing it along, as it is to his song “remix to ignition.” I feel that his presence in Malawi would be enjoyed by all, expeically me. As soon as the center is built and thriving I will send him an invite.
Please before reading look up R. Kelly song to experience full effect.
Its time to get out the kitchen
smoke in your eyes sure is bitchin’
world is burnin’ up now when
you put car keys in ignition
Killin’ trees left and right,
burnin’ wood for the light
but those fires you burn given me
“end of world fright”
cuz clean air is disappearing by the…
ounce, ounce, (repeat however many times r. kelly says “bounce, bounce”)
Now its not like murder she wrote,
were hoping to get off the environmental disaster boat,
time to boot up the justice and keep earth mama afloat
sippin’ on rocket tea,
saying “yeah feeling kinda free”
goin’ get this country rollin’ without taking an environmental fee.
and saving trees by the ounce, ounce….
say what?!?!??!? yewo.
